The challenge over at DCM this week is:
Pound Shop Pretties.
search out those pound shops or dollar stores and find new things to add to your stash - then create a card using your new found bargains!!
My crafty bargain was an embroidery kit from TK Maxx. Loads of Anchor embroidery floss all in lovely pinks, reds and creams, a large rectangle of embroidery fabric and a stitching chart (won't be needing that lol!) all for £1.
Another crafty find was this zip trim from John Lewis. I wouldn't say that was a bargain though!
Images and Sentiment: Pink Petticoat - Material Girl
Cardstock: Pink Petticoat - Organics Kraft Pack
Chalks and Promarkers
Seam Binding
Ribbon Rose and Press Stud fastener
Machine Stitching
Glamour Dust glitter
Love, love, love these cards!! Totally perfect. I love the nick out of the paper in the first card and the stitching around it all. That mini rose is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat length of zip is fab too - it looks really effective as a bow! Thanks for sharing.
