Absolutely stunning as usual you are a continual source of inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteMorning Vicky ... Ooh and aah!! That's absolutely gorgeous. x
ReplyDeleteVicky this is beautiful! I love the way you have used them to reproduce the union jack in such a girly way!!! My favourite thing though is the pleated border along the bottom. I would NEVER have thought to pleat it - punching is enough for me!! Totally going to have to try it though - it looks amazing and adds a great texture to the card along with that velvet ribbon!!

Very pretty! Is the white border simply punched paper rather than actual ribbon? Looks very attractive either way - but I'm curious! Another card to inspire me to learn to use my sewing machine :)

Very Vintage Rose. The flower is so effective, puts me in mind of the 1940/1950's, maybe something to commemorate the Queen's coronation. How did you make the flower by the way?
ReplyDeleteDamasa

It's fab, I love Union Jacks in all colours and this one is just great, that flower is fab too, I really must have a go
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the inspiration
:-)
I love the ruffled edge to the bottom of your card- it is unusual and so effective. Making the Union Jack flag pretty and girly is really great- it reminds me of the T-shirts you can get in Next in the summers most years. Lovely flower in the centre- I read how to make them like that last night and want to have a go now.
ReplyDeleteWow!! This is lovely!! The flower is stunning & your lace is a perfect finish! Great work!!
ReplyDeleteStunningly elegant as always Vicky. Is the white ribbon at the bottom made from paper?
