CPS - Sketch 202

A lovely sketch over at CPS this week.  I've been  meaning to join in with one of their sketches for a while now but never seemed to have the time, but this week I made time.

I always love making these paper flowers, I thought they'd work well with the design of these lovely papers.  If you'd like to have a go, there's a tutorial to make them on my blog HERE
It's going to be crafting weekend for me - lot's to catch up with!  TFL :)x

All About Me

The current dare over at DCM this week is All about Me - to make a card you'd like to receive.  Well my card had to use papers and an image from Pink Petticoat, they've always been a favourite with me.  It had to be this semi circle shape too!   It's always the shape I go for when I'm struggling with my mojo, ever since I made the first one back HERE last year. I find it an easier shape to work with than a whole circle or a square.  It's easy to make too, no fancy templates or circle cutters required.

Just take an A4 sheet of cardstock and fold in half .  Use anything circular to draw around, I use this oversized badge, it's about 15cm in diameter.  Then cut out - simples!

'Love' Card Take 2

I was never really happy with THIS card so I recycled it into this!  I'm a lot happier with this one and I'm entering it in the 'A Stitch In Time' challenge over at Let's Craft and Create
I'm off to take the photos of my current DT make for Pink Petticoat, while we've still some daylight.  I''ve used the new release Perfect Papers and they are just that - perfect.  I wish I couild say the same for my card though, another one I'm not happy with but time is running out!

After Eights Anyone?

Ever wondered what to do with those empty After Eight packets.  I know I have, and I always get told off for leaving the empty packets in the box!  It's just as well I did now.  Kirsty has a freebie download over on her blog to make one of these Don't Forget wallets using those dinky little pockets.  Simple to make just download, cut and stick!

I'm going to enter it in the 'Just a Note' challenge over at Let's Craft and Create

'Love' card

Just a simple little card for Valentine's Day to get me back in the blogging groove.  Hopefully I'm back on track now, just need to buy a new PC!  My son has very kindly let me use his laptop and IPod Touch in the meantime. - he's a star!
