Flower Doodles!

Well I really surprised myself today and made my first waterfall card! For those of you who have not made one before it really is a lot simpler than it looks. The 'how to' instructions were kindly given to me by Lisa at Craftbugs. If you haven't visited Lisa's blog before it really is worth a visit. Have a good look 'round and I'm sure, like me, you'll find her designs stunning and a real inspiration!

Out of the Blue!

Saw this paperfold technique being demoed on 'Create and Craft ' some months back and have been looking on You Tube for a video tutorial.

Eventually found one here. I've used the technique to create a blue themed birthday card, for a favourite Auntie.

Graphicus February Challenge - Brick and Teal/Home

Well as you can see from my previous posts this rustic new home card is completely different to my usual designs. Way out of my comfort zone! but a challenge that I enjoyed, especially as it meant I could invest in some more products from Graphicus.
I used:

Lazar StudioWerx Scrapbook Papers (Rustica) - Graphicus
Elusive Images Texture Blocks A4 Themeplate - Graphicus
Stazon inkpad (Tobacco Brown) - Graphicus
Cotton and button - my sewing box
Cardstock - my stash
The 'new home' was handwritten using a good old Helix stencil!

Agapanthus

One of my favourite flowers. So I just had to have this stamp. Decided on a monochrome theme for a more masculine card..... still think it looks a bit girlie though. Too late now though as it went in the post today!
