Prima Songbird Mini Book...

Here's this week's make for the Bubbly Scrumptious blog.  A teeny mini book using a wooden spool to bind- it.  I do love this Prima Songbird paper collection.   A lovely fresh and clean 'Spring' colour palette with  accents, journal cards and tickets within the paper designs, making a 6 x 6 paper pad go just that little bit further.  For the supplies list and a step by step guide to make it. pop over to THIS page on the Bubbly Scrumptious blog.

This week over on the Bubbly Funk blog it's Product Focus week, and we're focusing on Maya Road Chipboard and Eco Green ink pads.

Celebrate Life...

I mentioned a couple of days ago that I'd signed up for Shimelle's online class 'Something From Almost Nothing'.   The class focuses on getting more from the stash we already have.  There's lots of tips, prompts and tutorials that help build an album entitled Celebrate Life.  In lesson 1 you create the album cover - and here it is.

This week's City Crafter Challenge 'Back To Basics' to use paint and recycled cardboard was perfect for this project. I used white acrylic paint on the cardboard and metal oval frames.
