We've all got old jeans clogging up the wardrobe. Free up some space, do your bit for the environment and upcycle! Turn the legs into handy storage bags.
It's easy, not much sewing involved and you can sew by hand if you don't have a sewing machine.
First cut off about 30cm from the bottom of the leg.
Turn inside out and stitch about 1cm from the cut edge. If you 're sewing on a sewing machine zig zag stitch along the raw edge to stap fraying
Pull open the leg and match the seam with the centre of the leg. Mark a line with pins 5cms from the point.
Repeat on the opposite side and stitch.
Trim away the excess fabric leaving a 1cm seam allowance and zig zag stitch along the raw edge.
Turn right side out and viola!...a plant pot cover
Reduce ♥ Reeuse ♥ Recycle
