Happily Ever After...

Supplies List

Silver, black, ivory and green cardstock
White and Silver Embossing Powder
Clear Embossing ink pad
Vellum
Greeting Stamp. Similar one here
Bunting Stamp.  Similar one here
MFT Die-namics Rolled Rose die.  This Sizzix one is similar and as cheap as chips!

  1. Cover the 12 x 15 cm card blank with silver glitter card and then mat and layer with black and ivory card leaving a narrow border between each layer.
  2. Cut a panel of thin black card about 5 cm wide.  Add the sentiment (see below) and place on the centre of the card front.
  3. Stamp and emboss four triangular pennants on vellum with silver embossing powder.  Place the pennants across the top of the card front.
  4. Make three rolled roses from ivory card and glue just above the pennants
  5. Tuck die cut/punched leaves under the flower petals and glue in place.

Tip:  To achieve the faux chalkboard, I cut a panel of black card, stamped the sentiment with clear embossing ink and heat embossed it with fine detail brilliant white embossing powder.  Then I coloured the remaining areas with a piece of white chalk gently smudging it with my finger.

Next week's project will be this Father's Day Gift Set
