Inspirational Card Sketch #45 and an award!

It's Wednesday which means I'm late posting my ICS card this week! A fabby sketch from Dawn and great prize on offer which has also been donated by Dawn, pop on over to ICS and see what's on offer.

For my DT project this week I've rotated the sketch and created a christmas money wallet.
Oh am I so glad of blogland today. I spent yesterday at the funeral of my old uncle, he was 81 and had been poorly for a while, a sad old business. I was reminded of other loved ones passed away and that life is really short and passes far too quickly, so am feeling a bit miserable this morning.So I'm off to while away a couple of hours visiting you all and maybe even get some DT stuff done this afternoon as I'm sure you lot will cheer me up and inspire me to get the paper and scissors out again.

I've got an award to share too. It's been given to me by the very talented Tracey thank you so much. Now the rules are that I give 5 facts about myself so here goes..

I can't wear high heels anymore
I hate driving
I should exercise more
My favourite soap is Corrie- I've never missed an episode
I hate porridge and rice pudding

I also have to pass it on to 7 others. Well I'm sure a lot of you have got this one already, but if you haven't feel free to take it. You're all sooo creative.

Aww, Dolly.. Tough times. Hope you're feeling more chipper soon.

Life IS short, so all the more reason to smile. I know that's cock-eyed logic, lol, but what I mean is all the more reason to hug our kids and our loved ones more tightly, find time for them, slow down just a little and if something pleases your heart, linger just a while and suck every micro-moment of joy from it. Breathe and remember it. Look at your life and see what is good about it, and focus on wringing every possible drop of happiness you can from beauty, and love, and things that make you laugh.

I know you know all that trite stuff, but it sounded like you might need someone to say "Remember this".

Lovely money wallet, congratulations on your well deserved award. I am often inspired by things you make, your ideas are so unusual and ahead of the trends.

So sorry about the loss of your Uncle. Life is short so that means you need to do the things you love doing including crafting. Your wallet is super cute and would be perfect for a gift card or money holder.
