It's still Friday, just (sorry I'm a bit late posting mine) that means it's time for another challenge from Polka Doodles. This week it's a sketch, the design team were given the added colour challenge too, to use orange and red in their creations. Be sure to check out the Polka Doodles blog the DT have come up with some real stunners this week. as always.
Not so happy with my card, not sure that my style brings out the best in the Polka Doodles designs. But I'm working on it, I won't be beaten!I've used papers from the Sugar Birdies CD and added some stitching to create a patchwork effect. Lulu ladybug has had a couple of coats of glossy accents to make her shine!
This is just fabulous Vicky! What an amazing colour combo. I love that little bug. I had a big accident with my glossy accents this afternoon - major clean-up operation and much stickiness! Oooops! jo x
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with it?? I think your being too hard on yourself. I think it's really funky.x
ReplyDeleteThese colours are fabulous together - I really must get more into the bright, bold and even clashing colour combos they're so striking when put together as well as this. A super card Vicky.

Dolly this turned out so cute. I "sew" wish I could sew. I think it really adds a dimension to a card that you can't get any other way. Love the glossy on the little ladybug too. Hugs...Kris
