Starting out with Papercutting...

Another fortnight has flown by and it's time for another challenge over on the Let's Craft and Create blog an we'd like you to get creative with Swirls.
For my card, I'm learning a new skill - Papercutting.  This is my first attempt, and I'm rather pleased with the result.

I've used a template to get me started.  There are a lot available for free on the Web.  This one is from Inspire Me Papers.  My aim is to draw and cut my own designs eventually!

Check out the blog for more swirly projects from the design team.  Hope you can join in with us, there's a Stampin Up stamp set up for grabs for one lucky winner.

I'll be back soon with my next papercutting project.

  5. Knockout design and cutting Vicky, this looks amazing! I've looked at this style of cardmaking in books but never had a go as it looks so tricky - looking forward to seeing what wonders you create, Jo x

  9. Love it, it looks amazing, what a great idea. I bet it is very time consuming cutting it out and so precisely. You must have a lot of patience, haha. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your designs.
