Birthday Pinwheel Card...

For the Bubbly Scrumptious blog this week I've had a go at making a Pinwheel, a first for me!  A lot easier than I thought and so effective.
The papers are from one of my favourite scrapbook companies  - My Minds Eye.  Love their 6  x 6 paper pads, 24 sheets of cardstock quality paper and each sheet is double sided so 12 unique designs per pad.
There's a full supplies list and a how-to make it guide over on THIS page.

Scrap Buster...

Are you like me and hate throwing away those scraps of cardstock and patterned papers? Well, now's your chance to use them! Our latest challenge over at Let's Craft and Create is...

Scrap Buster

I get an immense satisfaction from using up my scraps. For my DT project I've created a set of mini cards with some off cuts of Echo Park Happy Days papers, a couple of punches and a few stamps.

Check out the Blog for some inspiring ways to use your scraps from the Let's Craft and Create designers and the fabulous prize on offer for one lucky winner. I hope you can find the time to join in the fun.

Thanks for visiting today :)

Time for another challenge over at Let's Craft and Create and the theme this fortnight is

Stars Stripes and more Crochet...

Here's my make for the Bubbly Scrumptious Blog.  A Congratulations card using star dies and stripy patterned paper.   As always there's a full supplies list and a guide to make it over HERE on the Bubbly Scrumptious Blog.

In other news, I'm still hooked on crochet.  Here's a snowflake I made at my class last week.  The yellow yarn was just to practice, now I'm happy with the pattern I'll be making some in white to decorate the tree and gifts this Christmas.

And I have a list of projects as long as your arm I'd like to make, most of them from this fabulous book by Nicki Trench.  Don't you just love that tea cosy?
