Red White and Blue!

I've dusted off my craft area after my holiday and made a card to enter The Ribbon Girls - Red White and Blue Challenge.  I've used the same layout as my previous makes - just to ease me gently back into it after a week's break.
Off now to dust off the BBQ ready for our first one of the year this evening and would you believe it's just started to cloud over!

Card Patterns Sketch 111

Remember I told you I had a winning card over at Card Patterns with Sketch 108.
Well, the prize was a Guest Designer spot for sketch 111, what a welcome surprise.  Here's my take on it.

Thanks to the DT for choosing my card it's an honour to join you for Sketch 111.

Thank You!

Here's a 'Thank You' card I  made for one of my lovely blogging buddys.  Regular visitors may be thinking it looks familiiar.  Well THIS card was a winner over at Card Patterns so to celebrate I made another one.

Just like to say a big thank you for all your lovely comments, makes it all worth it.

I'm going away on holiday tomorrow for a week.  A nice relaxing break in the Staffordshire countryside.  It won't be a completely craft-free week though.  I'm off to  Tigerlily Makes for a one day Felt Making course. I'll be sharing photos of my handiwork when I get back.

Easter Treats!

Just wanted to share some treats I've created for Easter.  I'm entering them in the current challenge over at Let's Craft and Create.  Be sure to check out the Blog to see some lovely Easter inspiration from Mandy and Eileen and some felt loveliness from Guest Designer - Marlou.  There's still another week left to enter to be in with a chance of winning the gorgeous prize.

Little Bitty Mini Cards

I found a new challenge blog - well it's a new one for me.  The Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge .  This week the theme is Little Bitty Mini Cards with bonus points for creating more than one.  So I've used my new 'Keep Calm' stamp to make my set of cards.
A bit simples I thought to be entering for a challenge, so I've made one into a bottle gift tag.

This seems to be my motto at the moment!

Anyone for Eggs?

Chocolate eggs that is.  :)  I've 'upcycled' an egg carton to fill with chocolate eggs for an Easter gift.
I've been planning this project in my head for weeks now and this weeks Shabby Tea Room 'Spring Color Challenge' seemed the perfect opportunity to create it!
Check out the Shabby Tea Room Blog for lots of shabby goodness from the DT plus a pretty inspiration photo for this weeks challenge.
