Stars, a Scarf and Chocolate Brownies...

Yay! I've made a card! It's for the 'Less is More' challenge 'Stars'. Can't believe I've only just come across this challenge blog - I'm definitely a less is more kind of girl!  I'm experimenting with using non-traditional Christmas colours this year and I love this Bubblegum pink.  What do you think?

I've had a few requests to share my knitting and baking so here goes.

While I was at the Knitting and Stitching Show last month.  I bought this fantastic loopy yarn from the lovely girls at Crafty Yarn.  All you need is one ball of yarn, the pattern is on the ball band, and in no time you've got a pretty lacy scarf.

Chocolate brownies, it's a Nigella recipe from her last TV series.  I've tried various brownie recipes and find this one is the easiest, quickest and tastiest!

It's going to be a Pink Petticoat Christmas for me this year, and the production line is in full swing, I'll be back to share some more Christmas designs very soon.  Enjoy your Monday :)

  13. I feel like I'm reading about myself Vicky! Same name, and I too love card making (CAS is my favourite style), love knitting and baking!! I too have just made a loopy scarf. Have you tried the Rio can can as well?? As for Brownies... they're my favourite, although I have been making Parkin the last few weeks, being festive for this time of the year an all!!
Love your CAS chrisrmas card. Alternative colours can work really well for christmas, especially when it's just being mixed with white!
    Love your blog too!!
