Fabric Flower - How to...

Here's a little 'how-to make' a fabric flower.  I must just say it isn't my own design, I saw it on a blog somewhere, but I've lost the link so sorry I can't give credit.

1. Take 5 2 x 2" squares of fabric.

2. Fold each square in half diagonally and stitch a running stitch along the two straight sides.

3. Gather the stitiches quite tightly and secure with another couple of stitches to create each petal.

4. Arrange the 5 petals to form a flower attaching to a circle of felt with strong fabric glue.
Stitch a button to the centre and your done.

Hope you like it.  If you give one a go, please come back and let me know so I can come and have a look. I'll be back tomorrow to show you a card I've made using this flower.
