Inside the Binders!...

Thanks for all your suggestions on how to tidy my ribbon box, I've no excuse not to tidy it now.

Here's the inside of the binders Louise.  I store individual acrylic stamps on A4 sheets of acetate and tuck them inside punched document wallets, hope this helps.

I've got a blog award from my lovely blogging buddy Lynda - thank you.  In order to accept it I have to say 3 things I like about myself.  That's easy - my patience, good memory and logic.  These qualities come in really handy living with 2 men (well one is only 14) that are always losing things!
Next I need to pass it on to 7 others, that's the hard bit as all your blogs are lovely but to make it easy I'm going to pass it on to all who commented on my last post (apart from Lynda!).

I've signed up for an online scrapbooking class HERE .  It's called 'Learn Something New Everyday' and it starts tomorrow, I'll let you know how I get on.

Project for the Weekend...Finished!

Well here are the kraft binders - now decorated!  I used the Super Dreamy stamp set  from Banana Frog and alphabet stamps from Hampton Arts and I only smudged one flower!
Over at DCM the sponsor this week is The Ribbon Girl.  I just had to have a peek at the site and couldn't resist so placed an order on Friday...

and on Saturday my ribbons arrived.  How was that for service.

I just need to organise my ribbon box now...Any ideas on how to keep ribbons tidy?

Project for the Weekend...

I've been looking for some kraft A4 binders to store my acrylic stamps ever since I saw a tutorial over on the Banana Frog blog.  Found some in Smiths - £2.59 each - bargain!  So that's the project for the weekend to decorate them a la Jo Firth Young .

If you like chocolate fudge cake you'll love THIS recipe, so easy and super delicious, enjoy!  Can't find those brightly coloured hundreds and thousands anywhere.

Don't forget the Get Funky blog challenge, not many entries so far not sure if that's because it's the holiday season or I picked a naff theme lol!  If you get a chance to enter PLEASE do!

Edited to add:  There's a sale on at Funky Hand this weekend - 20% off everything!

Material Girl

Great challenge over at DCM this week....
'Material Girl'

Jane would like us to create a card inspired by a design on clothing, like slogans, textures, colours etc.
Here's my card...

I've tried to create the collage design on this t-shirt...
Really enjoyed creating something different to my usual style.

More Christmas stuff!

Getting into the swing with a batch of christmas cards and tags. Less stressful making them now than in December like last year! So here's a tag that I made for the Winter Wonderland challenge 'Tag It'.
Some more christmas cards that were for last week's DCM tree-mendous challenge but I'm a little too late for both challenges, I thought it was Thursday today lol!

2 Sketches 4 you

I'm surprised I remembered how to make a card it's been so long...  Here's a Christmas card made using the fab sketch from Kazan over at 2S4You.  Apologies for my absence, I'm back in the crafting groove now so will be visiting you all soon.

Get Funky with pockets

1st of the month so it's time for another Get Funky challenge.  My turn to set the theme this month, and I've gone for
Pockets

It could be anything you like – a card, a mini album, a wordbook as long as it has some kind of pocket.

The Get Funky blog is 1 year old today so to celebrate there's lots more prizes on offer.  Check out the blog for all the details and the fabulous pocket cards from the Funky Hand DT.

The tag wallet in the pocket opens up to reveal a gift card...
