Carol's Sketch Fun #15

It took a long time to come up with this one, a week in fact, lots of paper shuffling, I was just about ready to throw in the towel, admit defeat and sell all my crafty stuff on Ebay! But after a few hours at the hairdressers yesterday covering the grey! I felt a lot better, finished this card and everything started to fall back in to place.
There's two things I'm fearful of at the moment colouring images and embossing, and I was determined to overcome one with this card, and I went for the embossing and I think I've conquered it for now.

This is a Pink Petticoat image that I've embossed using an embossing pen and clear embossing powder and I'm quite happy with the result. So happy that I got carried away and forgot the sentiment, it's meant to be a 'New Home' card!
Oh I've forgot to tell you the most important bit, the lovely Carol has a yummy prize up for grabs for this challenge don't know how can she can bear to part with all this fabby stuff, so be sure to check it out. Longer post than normal from me so if you still here thanks for listening, I'm off to make another challenge card before the mojo goes AWOL again. xx

  2. Dolly, this is elegant! I have caught the chandelier "bug" and bought a stamp set of them in late August. They have yet to see ink; I just don't have any ideas. Your card is so pretty and I think you did a marvelous job with the sketch.

I just got some more blonde highlights put in on Thursday to cover my gray hair :) Maybe my mojo will kick in now too!

  3. Hi Dolly your card is fabulous again! haven't seen one that isn't lol. Inspiration is a bit slow with me at the moment just managing to scrape through with the must have's so please don't despair - it gets to us all. Just leave it and come back to it later is what do...a lot...lol.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
